Rain Rain Didn't Go Away But We Still Managed To Raise £1,131

Year 6 Cube Game Proved A Popular Draw

Despite the many pleas to the man above good weather wasn't forthcoming but the show must go on and on it did. Everything was held in the hall along with everybody making it nice and cosy! This year we decided to have more 'in-house' stalls manned by Year 4, 5 & 6. This year we also trailed offering a more varied range of food. This proved popular and we will be continuing and expanding this for our Christmas Fair 2012.

Queues Formed Tor The Ever Popular Bottle Tombola

The Crowning of the Rose Queen ceremony and the official opening had to be held indoors and once the formalities were out of the way all the stalls opened. Our big favourites the chocolate tombola and the bottle tombola soon had queues forming. The ping-pong game was brought back this year and was manned by Year 5 and along with The Cube game manned by Year 6 testing the skills of some parents and children alike.

We had some new stalls incuding a hair braider also there was Mrs. Newmans card and gift stall with Mrs. Havards and Mrs. Lowes cup cake stall and if one cake stall wasn't enough there was also Harry's Grandma's Cake Stall making a second appearance. We ran our sweet stall and a Teddy Tombola both adding to the variety.

Plenty On Offer
It was great to see so many children running around with their faces painted  courtesy of Mrs. Emberley-Peers, Mrs. Nicholson and Mrs. Algar. Our raffle rounded things off and we can be pleased that despite the awful weather we still managed to have some outside dancing and a Maypole Dancing performance alibiet cut short. We'd like to thank those that attended and despite the weather and the reduced turn out and having to cancel the outdoors events we managed with your help to raise £1,131 a little more than last year .We will carry on with the new format next year and hope to have fine weather and we feel we could raise a considerable amount.
